Day 11 Tuesday 1 April Tuscon, AZ to Prescott, AZ Today I should have been riding up the Devil’s Highway to tick off another road off my bucket list. But it is just not the right time of year and the weather is not that great at 7000 feet so I am choosing to take another route instead. So we get to head into Pheonix Arizona, who just happen to have a few t-shirt shops we can visit. And the Dixxon showroom is also in PHeonix and I am going to apologise now if you suddenly find you an addixon which translates to a wardrobe full of flannels. I am not sure how but there are over a dozen hanging up in mine. Once we have completely updated our wardrobe we head onto the road again. We will pass through Wickenburg before stopping in Yarnell. If you haven’t watched the film Only The Brave then I totally recommend you do. Yarnell hosts memorial park and although I would live to see the main memorial I don’t think any of us will be in a position to hike the 7 miles to main memorial is, and then hike it back. Maybe one day I will do that. From Yarnell we continue on Arizon 89 to Prescott, and what a road, 15 miles of mountain riding that I think will be better than the tail of the Dragon because of the scenery Distance: 300 Duration: 8 hours 50
